About Ember Epoxy

Hi! I’m Maria Adriana Tîrcă, the founder of Ember Epoxy — a small, family-run studio in the UK. We design and handcraft epoxy resin pieces at home: statement tables, countertops, trays, bowls, coasters, and jewelry. Every piece is unique, made to order, and finished with care. We happily accept custom commissions and ship across the UK and internationally.

I started Ember Epoxy with a simple idea: functional art should be beautiful, durable, and personal. Working from home with my family, I pour, pigment, sand and polish each item by hand. I’m inspired by ocean textures, gemstones, and the warmth of gold accents — a style you’ll notice in our collections.

Our Process & Quality Promise

We use premium, low-VOC epoxy systems with excellent clarity and UV-stabilizers. Each pour is cured in a clean, temperature-controlled environment, then sanded and polished through multiple grits for a lasting finish. Functional pieces (tables, countertops, trays) receive a protective topcoat for scratch resistance and easy cleaning.

Caring for your piece: Wipe with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; avoid abrasive pads and direct high heat.

Do you accept custom commissions?

Absolutely. Share your ideas, reference photos or colour swatches and we’ll design a unique piece for you. We can match interiors, sizes and finishes (gloss, satin or matte).

Where are you based and do you ship internationally?

We are based in the United Kingdom. UK delivery is tracked, and we can arrange international shipping — just message us with your country and postcode for a quote.

What resin do you use?

We use professional, low-VOC, food-contact-safe* epoxy systems for trays and coasters. (*Surface-safe when fully cured; direct cutting/very high heat is not recommended.)

How long does a made-to-order piece take?

Small items usually take 5–10 working days. Larger furniture can take 2–4 weeks depending on complexity and curing times. We’ll confirm your timeline when you order.

Can I choose specific pigments and metallics?

Yes! We keep a wide palette (teal, emerald, sapphire, violet, pearl, gold leaf, copper, etc.). Send us a reference and we’ll build a test swatch for approval.
